Kate Moss' Life Motto
Friday, November 20, 2009 at 8:30AM Dare I say that Kate Moss' life motto "Nothing tastes as good as SKINNY feels" is the way a lot of women feel?

Her quote in an interview for WWD has hit a nerve and now is being commented on all over the news as being irresponsible and encouraging eating disorders.
Do you think her saying this is wrong or is the media making a mountain out of a mole hill? Or is this equivelent to the reversal with comments like "Large and in charge" and "Big is beautiful" and the potential health effects that come with that line of thinking and encouragement?
Tell us what you think in the comments below.

That is an old quote. It's the truth. I guess the younger people (and reporters) are just now hearing that quote? I think the quote is "news" because of the messenger. If a slightly heavier person or a person who was dieting said it, the quote would have been inspiration instead of controversy.
I think it's fine... It's ok for people to say someone is too skinny to their face, but people flip out if you tell someone they're fat... More health problems with being overweight than being skinny...Both extremes are bad... but I don't think there is anything wrong with that motto.
It's all relative... coming from a waif model and using the word 'skinny' it sounds pretty bad. 'Skinny' in my mind is not positive what-so-ever. Sounds like someone is malnourished.....
But if a Ms Fitness competitor said 'Nothing tastes as good as being fit feels!' it would be perceived as being a good thing. Actually.... that is a pretty good mantra! Hummm.. going to have to use that one!
If she was naturally skinny with just a wicked metabolism, maybe I'd peak an interest...however, she does copius amounts of drugs which help her maintain her "skinny." Can't really take her too seriously...
I think that she's being punished for liking being thin. Honestly, I've never heard a woman complain about being thin, quite the contrary in fact. Then again, I work in a world where appearance is everything so "you can never be to rich or too thin" according to Hollywood anyway :)-
Imagine if Kate Winslet said that - I'll bet anyone a twinkie the majority would applaud her truthfulness.
i bet that a man prefer much more touch "SOMETHING" that touch bones...!
I thought she died a couple years ago...
I personally care more about my health and lifespan than looking like a skeleton. ...and no, im not overweight.
