Pilgrim Chic
Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 11:20AM What better way to get into the Thanksgiving spirit, than watching "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving"!
Since I'm feeling inspired by the holiday today, pilgrims to be exact, these are a few ideas of what a modern day pilgrim woman would wear to Thankgiving festivities.

Sending out thanks to all of you who come and support this blog. Remember those who you can't be with and thank and love those you can today, because tomorrow you may not get the chance! Happy Thanksgiving!

Absolutely agree! Good friends and family should never be taken for granted. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Such a cute movie! I wish I had it on DVD! I always love the Christmas one too :)
I hope you & yours had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I nibbled on flat bread crackers & some yummy hummus for awhile as the family started to gather at my parents' house (and took over the DVD player & tossed in Christmas Vacation), laughed at my dad when he had a "senior moment" & thought he was invincible & picked up a hot container of food, made some silly jokes & got everyone laughing, dad dished out his infamous eggnog (more nog than egg *winks*), played with my 5 yr old nephew & missed having my little sis & her hubby who were visiting his grandparents who are getting up in age. We also took a moment (it was obvious though not said) of those who we miss & are no longer with us to celebrate Thanksgiving. I waited awhile in the early afternoon before texting all my friends (as we all live in different time zones) & wishing them well. I got a flood of them back in including one from my sister who couldn't be at dinner. I was the only one grumbling about getting up & going to work but then remembering to be thankful I have a job & a damn good one in these hard times.
Also got to enjoy tweets with Ms. Jargan about her homemade, baked from scratch pumpkin pies.
:)
