2009 Holiday Gifts With Style
Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 12:55PM Here's some Holiday gifts with style for the Fashionista in your life! (All gifts are highlighted in red and will take you to suggested place for purchase.)
Scott Schuman, one of " Time Magazines Top 100 Design Influencers", photo book collection of style from around the world. I hope to get this one in my stocking!
On of my favorite fashion documentary's, it chronicles the trial and tribulations of Issac Mizrahi in 1995 as he prepares for a show for New York's Fashion Week.
Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at VogueGrace Coddington
This one is a little pricey as it is a photo collection of her creative contributions over the past 30 years at Vogue.
I happened to be channeling surfing one evening looking for something to catch my interest and I came upon this documentary about the genius known as Marc Jacobs. It gives a peak behind the creative process as he helms both the Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton fashion houses.
Since Lanvin is celebrating it's 120th birthday this year, I felt this was a great gift option.
*Side note and maybe a better late than never option (not available until early next year)
are the two stamps designed Alber Elbaz for the French postal service, La Poste. Both stamps reflect Mr. Elbaz's signature illustrations that he has made well known in his collections over the last few years.
I hope this helps anyone who was void of gift ideas! Hoping some of you will share your gift ideas, please post in the comments below.

JA, just how big is your stocking chika? Don't forget DB's stocking and the K9's :)
We drew names this year in our family so I don't have to fret over fashion for either of my sisters. Just have to grab two iTunes gift cards for my big brother.
What about fashion for just stepping out on the town? Saturday I spent the day with the women in the family at Opryland Hotel in Nashville checking out the decorations, lights & grabbing lunch at an Irish pub. Everyone looked so well put together. I managed to put on a nice brown sweater but wasn't up to fancy pants & shoes.
