Sneak Peak at Barton Perreria 2010 Ad Campaign

Okay, I'm going to be nay-sayer. Please forgive me. I dig this guy, but he's GOTTA get rid of the copstache!

Let's focus on the product. The ad is about the glasses, and though I'm a fan of throwbacks to vintage, I guess I'm just kind of over the "Nerdo-riche, geek sheik" look. And the whole pensive, introspective slant of the ad, COME ON!?! I know ad people get paid a lot of money to be creative, but really!? Though it's not quite as awful as the Old Navy ads with the stupid talking mannequins brought to you by Crispin P & B, it's a bit played out. I can't help but hear the little gears in his mind asking, "Do I look fat in these glasses?" I do however like his pants. Nice fit.
