Are You Skinny Fat?
Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 9:01AM Wall Street Journal is reporting today that even thin people can have the same health risk typically associated with fat people. It's not always about what you see on the outside, but what's on the inside that counts. Here is a little information to see where you "FIT" so to speak .

Informative but depressing! :P
Very informative information though for people who aren't aware. However I completely hate scales with a passion & not just because they tell me I'm fat. I can get on a scale at my parents' and weigh one thing, gym I weigh something else, doctor's office something else, another doctor's office something else, and even when I go to a walk-in clinic I can weigh something else. I've heard the old words of it's best to get your weight first thing in the morning, same time every morning, right after you empty your bladder. If that's true, ok then. However just my own quirk & opinion, no scale is going to be coming into my home ever. Scales are just depressing, LOL!
Thanks for being informative Johanna!
PS For some people out there they aren't able to do major cardio & weight lifting. I myself take water aerobics classes. I have too many old injuries that keep me from doing anything else. With water aerobics I have the water which makes exercising easier on the body and yes it really works. Last night I got out of the pool & my muscles were screaming in pain. We get a really good 45 minute work out.
It's not only informative but depressing, it's a bit scary as well. I'm skinny and I run 10 km three times a week, but now I wonder if it's really enough. Maybe it's time to get one of these body fat scales and check it...
