French Annie Hall Day 1

To Show everyone I'm keeping up with my style resolution here is my version of French Annie Hall Day1. It's hard getting used to trying to take pics with my iphone. Sorry if the pic is a little fuzzy, but it was the best of the bunch.

1.Crisp white mens shirt Dolce & Gabbana

2. Vintage Pucci Scarf

3. Rolled Up ages Joe's Boyfriend Jeans

4. Men's style Oxfords made to order for me by Esquivel Shoes. Amazingly comfortable and soft. Just mentioned in Vogue as one of the hottest shoe designers from Southern California.

I would love to hear your thoughts on my progress or if you want to ask me any questions regarding this look or how you can do it with your own little twist. Looking forward to your comments!

I love it! The shirt & scarf are to die for! Gosh if only those brands were in my price range. You look AMAZING! Pictures look great chika. Good to see your smiling face in the new year with new fashion.

QS, doesn't have to be expensive to look good or to achieve the same concept. A crisp white shirt that fits well, "Gap, J Crew even Target" are good places to look for it. Scarf doesn't have to be vintage but something with a lovely subtle print, in colors that you like. Easy to achieve, doesn't have to be expensive to look good!

Awesome! I'm a girl who loves blues & purples (scarf). Target is always fun to shop at :)

Now here is an intersting question. I see how you've tied your scarf. Is there a website to give you instructions or a book on the different styles to wearing a scarf? When I was a kid my mom use to have a closet full of her own fashion (clothes, shoes, scarves, etc) & I remember she had a book with pictures on how to wear a scarf in various styles & how to do those styles. Sometimes she would let me play in her clothes & dress me up. :)

Hey, that looks very good.

Unfortunately the winter weather over here in Germany doesn't allow me to wear anything like that now. Do you have any suggestions for cold weather? Something as casual and simple as that to wear at the office? Luckily we don't have to dress up at work, because I'm a total Jeans and sweater girl (well not girl, but I'm sure you know what I mean...)

The Grey Elephant,
Hopefully you will see my latest post. I think substitute my light weight shirt with a v-neck cashmere or light wool sweater and wear a cool blazer over it, or just a scarf around the neck. If you can wear shoes with no sox because of the weather, you can always wear a cool boot and tuck your pants in. I hope this helps.

Yes, it helped. Thank you, Johanna.

QS,
Here is a site I found that can give you ideas on different ways to tie a scarf. I simply just rolled mine from point to point and tied it in a knot. I hope this helps. http://beauty.ivillage.com/accessories/acctrends/0,,7b865g75,00.html
