Snuggle What?

Oh, No, Say it isn't so! Snuggie has just expanded its line. You can now own your very own bundle of cheap, Barbie pink/fuschia polyester known as the Snuggle Suit. It's a sure way to make it on to someone's Worst Dressed List! What about this exactly screams suit? Do they mean jumpsuit? Actually I think it looks like a robe with legs. If I may be so bold, as a lady you are inviting Monistat into your life with all that polyester between your legs. I was thinking it looks like something Barbie might wear to a slumber party then I found this on the Toys R Us website. (Look at the picture on the lower right, to see Barbie's pink robe.) Hmm, I wonder if the Mattel Corp. has a potential copyright lawsuit here? So if you want to look like Barbie and risk the potential trip to your local drug store to pick up some Monistat, you can buy this awful item for only $24.99! Act now! I would tell you where to buy it, but I don't want to encourage this behavior or be responsible for any "personal" issues. ;)

What makes your worst "dressed" list? I want to know, please post in the comments below!

Hang on will get to worst on the dressed list when I can pick myself up off the floor from dying of laughter! 100% x infinity on very much agreed with you! WOW! Insane! My worst dressed list: When I had to wear scrubs when I worked in a lab, some tops I had to wear when I worked for a before & after school care program (bought at WalMart), jeans (we don't mesh well), rhinestones, sequins (sp?) & I mean in mass amounts, stripes going the wrong way on someone with my body type (I have a cute long sleeved top but it looks so wrong on me), obnoxiously bright colors, clothes with holes (on purpose), clothes that show too much of the wrong thing, flannel in public (I used to wear my dad's old flannel tops back in high school, ya know like the Seattle grunge thing?), baby doll tees on the wrong person...ok I'll stop. I know Jeff Foxworthy has done a bit for redneck fashion which leaves me in stitches :D

Hilarious. All you need now is pair of Crocs to go with it... ;-)

Johanna, I love your writing style.

My worst dressed list:
- consultant type guys wearing cheap ill fitting business suits (I see a lot of them at work),
- ties with extremely colorful patterns
- a pink sweater on a woman with flaming red hair,
- a woman showing so much cleavage that the breasts are almost falling out (like Cuddy in House MD in later seasons)
- me in a mini skirt

There's more, but I think that should do it.

LMAO!!!! This was a wonderful way to begin my day! Thnk you for reposting it so that I could start my day in hysterics!
I love the reference to Monistat...had me rolling. You definitely have a way with words Johanna! Great piece!

And Cr*p....I did HAVE to get ORTHOPEDIC crocs ($50 for them ug-g-g-ly things) because i have a heel spur...now I'm going to have a fashion spur...like I needed more help being unfashionable! AND I needed 2, yes 2 of them. One for inside the house and the other for outside....I think that I'll elect surgury real soon. Wish me luck!

OMG that's hilarious! I'd like to see the look on the faces of the people that buy these, the first time they have to use the bathroom. Not so warm and snuggliy now! I made a joke this last week about a work out snuggie. Seeing this snuggle suit just scares me that the work out suit could be next!

My worst-dressed list?

**CROCS... with SOCKS! (or without)
**Velour Jogging Suits... especially in pink. Fine if you're over 70 I suppose but if you're 30? Adds a few decades to you.
**Clothes worn only to follow trends without taking body and personal style into account
**Most of the return to the 80's stuff out there now. It was bad then, it's worse in reruns.

Does Mattel have a copyright on the color Barbie pink?

Aside from the questionable color option, I can't see many issues with the new snuggie line. I'd feel just as comfortable relaxing on the sofa watching Jerry Springer or dashing to the market to do the weekly shopping. Kudos Snuggie Execs and Marketing for giving us busy working folks the option of the wrap or when we're feeling a little more formal, the suit
My fashion disasters:
Tube top & spandex ensembles
Crop tops & 300 pounders. (not hatin, just statin)

Great piece Johanna. Well, where does one begin. Here's my quick list of nasty things : Snuggie, Crocs, Ugg boots and colourful bulky Cardigans.. big No No's.
