Grammy Wow's, Ow's & So's
Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11:18AM The Grammy's never seem to let me down when it comes to some red carpet spectacle, this year was no exception. There was a futuristic theme walking the carpet and performing on stage last night and Gaga fit right in. I'll have to say I'm so use to her get ups they no longer have any impact on me. I still like them, but I expect them.
WOW'S
Fergie: Loved that she wore color and showed off her fit body in a sexy and tasteful way. I also liked the asymmetrical shoulder detail of the dress. She's a tiny woman she can pull such a think off.
Jennifer Hudson: Looking fabulous in her black cinch waist dress. This dress accented all the flattering parts of her body. Loved the sleek hair.
Lady Gaga: Looking like a modern day Glenda the Good Witch, it was no surprise Gaga showed up wearing something theatrical. What was surprising is when I heard someone say it was designed by Girogio Armani. Didn't know the old guy had something like this in him, smart move on his part.
SOSO'S
Taylor Swift: Great dress wrong girl, wrong event. Too mature for her, and done with her sequence dress collection
Beyonce: I like this Balmain inspired dress, I almost wish she wore this on the red carpet than that ugly color dress she chose.
Rihanna: I usually love her dresses, but I'm not sure if I love or hate this. I love the top part, but I'm not a fan of the accents around the hips. I also can't get out of my mind Tilda Swinton's character from "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe"
OW'S
Beyonce Knowles- Z: Sorry B, I love your music but, not your choice of dress to walk the red carpet. Your hair color looked fried because of the dress color. The detailed lines all over the dress were unflattering. Dress would have worked on less curvy woman. Maybe your alter ego Sasha Fierce should have picked your dress!
Snooki Polizzi: Ok I don't know why she was even at the Grammy, but just goes to show you the guest list to the Grammys isn't as tight. Her dress it appropriate for this kind of party but not for her body. To steal a quote from Clairee Belcher from the movie Steel Magnolias, "Looks like two pigs fightin under a blanket."
Katy Perry: Hated it!!! She's usually quirky and cute, but this Zac Posen number was just bad. Color was bad for her pale skin tone.
I know I left off one obvious OW, Britney Spears, but like Gaga she's no surprise, I expect the worse and she always delivers. Britney it's called a stylist I have a list of great ones for you, call me!
Who made your WOW or OW list? Please post in comments below.

Lady gaga may have been a WOW on the Red Carpet but was an OW during her duet with elton John, in my opinion! lol. There's always and opinion when it comes to Lady Gaga.
Jennifer Hudson and Fergie look great in those outfits. Not really a Lady Gaga fan, but her legs are amazing in that photo.
Ow ow ow.. I don't suppose anyone with a name like Snooki would know how to dress for the red carpet anyway. It's like a bad train wreck, I keep staring at it. Please make it stop. And Katy Perry could have a drop dead gorgeous dress on and all I'd be able to see is those horrid I'm-too-cheap-to-get-a-real-haircut bangs. Oh and can we add Adam Sandler to the Ow list? As a twitter buddy of mine (@Boomstone) said last night "Oh Adam...you can't joke your way through the fact that you've confused the MTV Music Awards with the 52 yr old classy GRAMMYS!"
I agree with your Wows. I also liked Lea Michele's flirty little dark blue number. In fact, THAT's how that white feather dress at the GGs should've looked. Loved Lady Gaga's red carpet outfit and loved the performance. Pairing her up with the queen of outrageous stage costumes (Elton) was brilliant. And the song/singing was solid too.
Totally missed the whole thing. However upon seeing your pictures and comments, well said. And on the "ow's"...YIKES!
