Charolette Gainsbourg's Je Ne Sais Quoi

Charolette Gainsbourg: Click on image to go to Vogue articleIf there is anyone out there whose style I most aspire to it has to be French actress / singer Charolette Gainsbourg. I have long been a follower of her fashion Je ne sais quoi. I don't know if it's her long dark tresses, I have them too, or her tall thin frame (I'm on the tall side) or her little use of make up (I wear the bare minimum when I can), whatever it is, I just heart it.

Vouge profiles how to get her style in their Most Wanted section.

Whose style do you wish you could have? Let me know I can give you tips on how to get there. Post your comment below.

I have no idea whose style? ANY style would be good for me. I have none. LOL I am a jeans and t-shirts kinda gal. I own one dress and I love boots. LOL I love to look at fashion, I know nothing of fashion. I think I keep hoping by watching the tv shows, reading the mags, your blog, something will start to rub off. ha ha ha So far, not yet. ;)

I love Charlotte Gainsbourg's style. She has the rock tinged, bohemian style down pat. I also loved her fathers music.. Serge Gainsbourg. Thanks for sharing Johanna.

Sal,
I just adore her simplicity and her ability to look so chic without much effort. I hope I will one day have this ease for style. I tend to love European dressing and a N.East American Preppy look. I'm not quite rock&roll or quite prep, I guess somewhere in between. Her parents were two very unique creative people in their day, she obviously has this gene.

:)

I like that style, I'm too old for the goth thing I wore 30 years ago,I've done the Joan Jett thing, the skateboader thing, I'm too young for the grandma thing (even though I am) I need a new thing!! Help

Love this style... I do have a quick question - if I wanted to have a dress made, not a wedding dress or anything - just a fashion dress - any suggestions on who to go to? I've been trying to find a certain dress, and they don't make it anymore, so I was going to try and have it custom made?

Thanks for any advice. Love your blog!

Isabella,
First let me apologize, for some reason my comments have been going into a spam folder. I get notifications sent to me via email and just only saw your question. Where do you live? What is style dress?
