Manx

Well looks like men want to be "skinny bitches" too. Sara Blakely the founder of the women's slimming undergarments brand Spanx , now has a line for men. Just in time for all this Kevin Smith, Southwest airlines "Fatgate" controversy.

Click on image to go to Spanx websitBlakely said she has developed a small line of Egyptian cotton undershirts that consist of tanks tops, crew neck and v-neck t-shirts that will help camouflage the "Man Guts" of the world. The 19% spandex in the undershirts is said to be the key component to the smoothing and slimming of the tummy area. Aiding in the false advertising of a trimmer, fitter physique. The Manx will hit it's first test store, Neiman Marucs on March 15 and prices range from $55-$58. You can already buy them on line at the Spanx website. Male compression bottoms (fat add reducers) are said to be coming soon.

I don't know how this is all going to go over with the male species. I can see gay men trying this product as they are more serious about their vanity than male hetero's. I also know when I use these garments under my actresses' wardrobe on movies they complain how hot they get. I think that is another reason this product may not be successful with men, they tend to sweat a little easier then women. Overall I think it's a great idea, just not sure if men will get into it. I guess men can now get a taste of what women go through to look like "skinny bitches".

Do you think men will embrace wearing a modern day girdle? Post your comments below.
